Julie returns to Detectronic
Industrial water and trade effluent monitoring role for industry specialist
Julie Parsons has joined the team at flood and pollution prevention experts, Detectronic, in a role that will see her working with companies across the UK to deliver innovative industrial water and trade effluent monitoring.
Julie is no stranger to Detectronic having worked at the company 25 years ago at its original offices in Blackburn. She brings with her a wealth of experience in sales having spent the last 14 years helping and advising a wide variety of factories, businesses and schools across the North West on hygiene and health & safety.
Commenting on her new appointment, Julie said: “I’ve built up some key contacts in my previous employment which I am now keen to utilise and introduce here in my new role. There are some clear synergies with many of my former customers and the Detectronic offering – I know there are numerous opportunities for us to help those businesses make savings on their industrial water and trade effluent bills through smarter monitoring.
I plan to spend up to three days a week out and about visiting new and existing customers to discuss how we can help them to deliver such savings as well as looking at any issues they may have with surface-water charges from their local water companies – as there are potential savings to be made there too.”
Concludes Steve Woods, managing director at Detectronic: “Julie is well-connected both locally and regionally. Following her intensive in-house training with the existing team, she will be well-placed to work with a variety of clients to help them implement highly effective water and wastewater/trade effluent monitoring which will, in turn, deliver accurate data that can be used to renegotiate water disposal charges to make cost savings and maintain compliance.”
